OUR CORE DOCTRINE:
God
We believe in one true God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the Trinity. (Isaiah 43:7-10; John 1:1-3, 18; John 15:26; John 17:11,21; Zechariah 14:9; Matthew 2:6; I Timothy 3:16)
Jesus
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, and that the Scriptures declare: His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary work on the cross, His resurrection and His exaltation at the right hand of God. (Luke 1:30-35; Hebrews 7:26; Acts 2:22; I Corinthians 15:3-5; Acts 1:9-11)
The Bible
We believe the Bible, in its entirety, to be the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct. (II Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; II Peter 1:20-21)
Resurrection
We believe the Bible, in its entirety, to be the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct. (II Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; II Peter 1:20-21)
Salvation
We believe that mankind's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. This salvation is received through our repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Peter 1:3-5, 8, 9; Romans 5:8-10; I Peter 2:24-25; Romans 1:16)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in sanctification through the Word of God by the Holy Spirit, expressed in personal holiness of heart and life. (Hebrew 12:10, 14; I Thessalonians 3:13; Ephesians 4:24; Romans 6:22)
Divine Healing
We believe in divine healing, through faith in the name of Jesus Christ. (James 5:14-16)
Baptism in Water
We believe in water baptism by immersion as an immediate declaration of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38; 10:48; Matthew 3:13-16; Mark 15:16)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit & Spiritual Gifts
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all are available to believers. (Acts 2:1-4, 33; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 10:44-48)
Return of Christ
We believe in the soon-coming, personal, and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:13-17)
Mission
We believe in the Church as an agency of God for evangelizing the world and to demonstrate His love and compassion for all the world. (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19-20)
The Church
We believe in the Church as the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with each born-again believer as an integral part. (Colossians 1:17-20; Ephesians 2:19-22; Ephesians 4:11-16)
